Buhais Geology Park Sections

 

Buhais Geology Park has two sections, which are the indoor halls and the outdoor trail.

There are two educational indoor halls; the first hall contains information about the origination journey of Sharjah. The second hall includes variety of exhibits like the rocks, fossils, & sand types. In addition, It has the children's educational corner. Indeed, there is a showroom for a documentary film called “Sharjah Heritage Treasure". Which shows all the geological factors that Sharjah was exposed to throughout the ages that formed its mountains, plains, and seas.

The outdoor trail of Buhais Geological Park is characterized by its’ paths, which are designed to introduce visitors to the most prominent geological features of the region, such as the Hajar mountain range, individual mountains, gravel plains, sand dunes, and even the Arabian Gulf itself. The visitors can enjoy the panoramic view of the region extending from the Hajar Mountains east to the sand dunes west.

The outer geological trail includes 12 geological stations, and external educational halls, in which the visitors can take a tour in them as follows:
